I wish you would offer reasons why you think DeWIne is caving to Trump? What is he afraid of? More heinous attacks on his constituents? On his family? Directing fascists to actually blow up one of his schools? Seems like the only response is to face the threat by shining light on it.
I'm not entirely sure. Some claim that he doesn't want to lose his connection to Republican state legislators. He needs them to govern and may fear they will turn on him if he backs away from Trump. He may also just feel that he's a loyal Republican and the Republicans selected Trump/Vance so he's obliged to follow. I don't think he's worried about personal harm to his family, but you never know. But in any case, there clearly are limits to his sense of integrity and courage. Thx for your question.
The way Dem and Republican parties usually control their members is through funding their campaigns. ... But seems like the Trump Reps. aren't sloshing cash down the media money holes that we call elections. There are ways we could fix that. But Trump clearly is using public threats. .... but seems like he can't follow through without getting in even more hot water with the law and the public. ... seems like the folks in Ohio are pretty upset with being the targets of his violence. ...
